The marketplace
No feeds of faces. You browse actual dinner plans — the restaurant, the night, the time, the open seat, who's hosting — and decide with all of it in front of you.

Screens from the iPhone app. Plans shown are examples.
Every plan is anchored to a real reservation — hosts book the table first, and The Reserv confirms it before the plan goes up.

How it works
Browse real dinner plans around Austin, or set your own — restaurant, night, time, party size.
Guests request the plans they like. Hosts look through who raised their hand and choose who joins.
Once a request is accepted, chat opens. The restaurant, date, and time are already set.

Join a date
Browse open plans, request the one you want, get accepted, meet there. The reservation already exists.

The reservation
Hosts make the restaurant reservation first, and The Reserv confirms it before the plan is published. No plan goes up on a maybe — when you request a seat, the table is already booked.
That confirmation is about the table, not the person. The Reserv does not run background checks or verify identity, so the usual first-date sense still applies.
After the yes
Chat opens only once the host accepts — so every conversation starts with a place, a time, and a table waiting. No pen pals. No “so… what are you looking for.”
The details
Every plan names the place. No “where do you want to go?” — the host picked it, and you can see it before you request.
The date and time are part of the plan, not a negotiation. You request a night that already exists on the calendar.
Each plan shows the host's preference — split the bill, host covers, or guest covers — before anyone requests a seat. The Reserv never touches the dinner bill.
Guests choose the plans they want. Hosts choose who joins them. Nobody lands at a table they did not pick.
Messaging opens only once the host accepts. Every conversation starts with a place and a time already agreed.
Plans happen at restaurants, in public, at a stated time. Reporting, blocking, and account deletion are built in.
Questions
The Reserv is a plan-first dating app built around a marketplace of real dinner dates. Instead of endless profile browsing, you browse actual plans — the restaurant, the date, the time, and an open seat — then request to join one or create a plan of your own. It is live in Austin, Texas and available on iPhone.
A host picks a restaurant, night, time, and party size, makes the reservation, and The Reserv confirms it before the plan is published. Guests browse open plans and request the seat they want. The host reviews requests and chooses who joins. Once a request is accepted, chat opens — with the place and time already set.
Yes. The Reserv is live and available to download on the App Store for iPhone. Open the app, browse open plans in Austin, request a seat, or create a date of your own.
The Reserv is currently available in Austin, Texas, for iPhone. Plans on the marketplace are at Austin restaurants. It is not yet available in other cities or on Android.
No. The host makes and holds the reservation. As a guest you request the open seat, and if the host accepts, your place at the table is part of their existing booking.
Chat opens only after the host accepts a request. Every conversation starts with a real plan already in place — a restaurant, a date, and a time — instead of weeks of small talk.
Each plan shows the host's payment preference — split the bill, host covers, or guest covers — so expectations are clear before anyone requests a seat. The Reserv does not book or sell the meal and does not process the dinner bill; you settle with the restaurant like any other night out.
Dates happen at public restaurants, hosts review and choose who joins them, and the app includes in-app reporting, blocking, and account deletion. The Reserv is for adults 18 and older. The Reserv does not run background checks and cannot guarantee that a user is who they claim to be, so it is still smart to tell someone you trust where you are going.
