The Reserv in Austin
The Reserv is live in Austin, Texas — the only city it serves right now. Hosts choose from 65 Austin restaurants that take OpenTable reservations, listed below by area. Pick the room first; the date follows.
How the restaurant list works
- This is where plans can happen, not what is on tonight. A restaurant on this list is one a host can choose. Whether there is an open plan there on a given night depends on hosts — open the app to see live plans.
- OpenTable restaurants only, for now. Every plan is anchored to a reservation the app can verify, which today means an OpenTable booking at a restaurant on this list. Restaurants that book through Resy, Tock, or by phone aren't supported. How booking and verification work.
- These are not partnerships. The restaurants haven't paid to be here and don't endorse The Reserv; they're places we think make a good first dinner.
- The list changes. Restaurants are added (and occasionally removed) as we verify them. This page reflects the app as of October 8, 2026.

Choosing a room for a first dinner
For a first date, the room matters as much as the menu: you want to hear each other, sit facing each other, and be able to leave easily. Our full checklist is in how to choose a first date restaurant. A few practical shortcuts from the list above:
- If you want to actually talk: these are listed in the app as quiet or quiet-to-moderate rooms — acre 41, Honey Moon Spirit Lounge, Intero, J-Prime Steakhouse, Jeffrey's, Kappo Kappo, La Traviata, Lutie's, Olamaie, The Well - 2nd St, The Well - Bouldin.
- Mind the price. $$$$ steakhouses make a big statement on a first date. Each plan shows the host's payment preference before anyone requests the seat; here is how that works.
- Book a time you can both make. A weeknight 7:00 or 7:30 is easier for most people than a Saturday at 9.
